Hear it from them.
From day one Hans was extremely welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. Instantly you could tell that he genuinely cared about taking care of his fellow Veterans. Hans was there every step of the way, and did a phenomenal job helping and guiding me through any questions and concerns. I truly can’t put into words how extremely fortunate and thankful I am that I connected with him. I’ve always recommended him to several of my Veteran friends.
I can’t say enough about Hans Wolf. My father was a Vietnam-era Veteran who served from 1957 to 1980. A lot of time had passed before he finally engaged with the VA, and even more time passed before we began exploring the service-connected benefits he might qualify for.
Anyone who has tried to navigate this process—especially after so many years—knows how confusing and frustrating it can be.
Hans did the heavy lifting for us. He gave us a clear roadmap and a plan to secure the benefits my dad qualified for—and truly needed in his later years. Thank goodness he did, because we encountered roadblocks at every turn. Delays and errors by the VA made an already complex process even more difficult.
Hans never waivered. He always seemed to know what to do and wasn’t afraid to escalate when necessary—whether that meant involving Department Secretaries, Members of Congress, or anyone else who could help move things forward.
In the end, we got there. It took longer than any of us wanted, and we had to fight far harder than anyone should have to. But my dad received the benefits he earned and deserved.
I’m certain we couldn’t have done it without Hans’ tenacity and refusal to give up. I will be forever grateful for his dedication and support.
My father, a Marine Vietnam combat Veteran who was exposed to Agent Orange, was diagnosed with mild dementia three years ago. At that time, he had an 80% service connection and had to move in with me. Although we were able to get him to 100%, I was working and he required 24/7 care. This made it difficult for us because we had various sitters coming into our home, and we were struggling financially.
One evening, while searching online for some miraculous solution that would allow me to avoid placing my father in a nursing home, I stumbled upon a Reddit post discussing SMC-R1. This is where I encountered Hans from American Veteran Advocacy. Initially, I must confess, I was skeptical there even was an answer to our prayers but the next day Hans called me and got to work. It was the BEST decision we have made!! To say I am thankful for Hans is an understatement!! Hans went above and beyond and walked us through explaining every step along the way. Hans was there to listen to me vent and rant and explained every question I had in terms I could understand. He was straight forward with no hidden agenda.
My father was granted SMC R1 and received payment in one year because of Hans. Our family will always be grateful for this man! I can't praise him enough for how he supported my dad in getting the benefits he deserved. Thank you, Hans!
Working with Hans on my VA claim made all the difference in rectifying the errors surrounding my SMC-S and P&T status. For the first time, the claims process actually went the way it SHOULD go efficiently, transparently, and with a clear strategy every step of the way. I truly don't feel like I could have achieved this outcome on my own.
What sets Hans apart is that he gives it to you completely straight. He delivered honest, clear feedback without ever blowing smoke up my butt or making empty promises like so many other organizations tend to do. Having someone fighting right next to me who knew the system inside and out took a massive weight off my shoulders. Thanks to his relentless advocacy and deep technical expertise, we got my 100% P&T and SMC-S backpay fully secured in 65 days. I cannot recommend him enough to any Veteran looking for a real partner in their claim.
Choosing to trust American Veteran Advocacy to represent you before the Department of Veterans Affairs is, without question, one of the best decisions you can make.
When I first spoke with Mr. Hans Wolf, I was in desperate need of guidance in dealing with the VA after what felt like a complete impasse with my claim. As an Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) veteran, I had spent more than 20 years navigating the bureaucracy and backlog of the VA system. Over that time, I had developed a deep distrust of the process and had all but lost hope that my case would ever receive the fair consideration it deserved.
From our very first conversation, Mr. Wolf made me feel heard and understood. Although I believed I had exhausted every option available to me, he assured me that he would stand beside me, advocate for me, and fight on my behalf. That is exactly what he did.
Throughout my entire claims process, Mr. Wolf demonstrated an extraordinary level of compassion, dedication, and professionalism. For the first time, I truly felt that I had someone in my corner who not only kept his word but genuinely cared about the outcome of my case.
Over the course of approximately 8 months, Mr. Wolf worked tirelessly to ensure that the VA took an honest and thorough look at my claim. Even when the VA resisted, he refused to give up. His persistence, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment ultimately made all the difference.
There is not a shadow of a doubt in my mind that without Mr. Wolf's assistance and the support of American Veteran Advocacy, I would not have been awarded a 100% VA disability rating.
If you want an advocate that will genuinely fight for you instead of simply processing paperwork, I wholeheartedly recommend American Veteran Advocacy. In my experience, Mr. Wolf's compassion, integrity, and commitment to Veterans is second to none.
Words alone will never fully express my gratitude for everything he accomplished on my behalf. I am incredibly thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Mr. Wolf. He is trustworthy, compassionate, diligent, and methodical in his execution. More importantly, he never loses sight of the Veteran behind the claim.
VA proposed a reduction in my disability status due to a bad C&P examiner. I searched for solutions online to learn how to best appeal the VA's decision in reduction proposals.
I found Hans Wolf online providing great insight to other veterans in my same situation.
Allowing Hans Wolf to advocate for me, he thoroughly reviewed all of my documents including my C&P exam results, and found significant errors from a C&P examiner reporting on my behalf to the VA. Hans Wolf swiftly provided me with an in depth solution, proving to the VA that my previous C&P examiner made mistakes in reporting my disabilities accurately.
After appealing to the VA with Mr. Wolf's support, I was awaiting a hearing, but due to the substantial evidence provided by me and Mr. Wolf, leaving no room for doubt, the VA deemed no hearing necessary, no reduction occurred, and my rating has remained the same!
By the way, this all took place in less than three months. Thank you, Mr. Wolf!
Hans is an extremely knowledgeable and effective representative. He helped guide me through the system, took the time to understand my unique circumstance, and infused a reassuring calm throughout the entire process. He was very effective in locating the necessary resources for me that I would not have otherwise known. He understands every nuance with filing, and leverages his insider knowledge of the workings of the VA system to my benefit, answering all of my questions along the way.
You are maximizing your chances of success by allowing him to guide you through the process, removing all unnecessary barriers, and allowing your specific circumstance to speak for itself, doing so with strategic guidance tailored to your specific case. I was successful in obtaining a 100 permanent rating with his assistance. Do not hesitate for a moment in trusting Hans to assist you in obtaining the benefits you deserve!
I first contacted American Veteran Advocacy after being out of the service for almost 13 years. I had questions about getting a reevaluation of my original VA disability rating. I had been away from the service for so long that I felt quite overwhelmed on what steps to take to even begin the process and was looking for some guidance.
After contacting the American Veteran Advocacy, Mr. Wolf quickly reached out to me and over the next few days he took the time to truly understand my concerns. He knew the right questions to ask, the correct pathway for claims submissions, and the right language to use to properly reflect my concerns. He took the time to review my files and identified additional items that were missed during my initial review. Mr. Wolf walked me through my submissions and anticipated possible responses from the VA and roadblocks I may face as well as what to do if my initial request was denied.
Mr. Wolf was absolutely professional, thorough, and timely throughout the whole process. I would recommend Mr. Wolf and American Veteran Advocacy to any Veteran looking for assistance in navigating the complexities of the VA.
Working with Hans made the VA claims process feel much less overwhelming. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and took time to explain things clearly instead of making things feel rushed or confusing. I appreciated the attention to detail, communication, and overall support throughout the process.
The VA system can be frustrating to navigate, and having someone in your corner who understands it and stays engaged makes a difference. I’d recommend Hans to other Veterans looking for guidance and support through the claims process.
I cannot say enough great things about American Veteran Advocacy! Hans was informative, knowledgeable, and communicative throughout the whole process. He was able to assist in the claims process and has helped myself and countless other Veterans. I recommend his services to any Veteran struggling with their claims and the VA.
I’m a recently retired Air National Guard pilot and I felt overwhelmed by the VA disability claims process. I had heard mostly horror stories from friends and colleagues about their attempts to file claims. I really didn’t know where to start. Not wanting to go to a claim shark company, I searched on the VA website for approved Veteran advocates in my area at the time and happened upon Mr. Wolf and American Veteran Advocacy.
Mr. Wolf reached out to me right away and walked me through the initial steps to filing my claim and what to expect throughout the process. He was very kind and patient on the phone and answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. My first attempt at documenting all my issues needed some modifications to help paint the picture and Mr. Wolf gave me the feedback I needed to get it into the proper format and include the right amount of detail and context.
When I got my claim decision letter he called me that day to discuss it which meant a lot to me. I highly recommend Mr. Wolf and the American Veteran Advocacy for any Veteran that wants some assistance with their VA claims. He’s very friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Most importantly, he’s not just trying to siphon off your benefits which is a real risk these days.
I highly recommend Mr. Hans Wolf and American Veteran Advocacy to any Veteran or family member who needs assistance navigating the VA benefits system.
From the beginning, Mr. Wolf has maintained constant communication with our family and has always kept us informed throughout the process. He is extremely organized, knowledgeable, and hardworking. Most importantly, he genuinely cares about helping Veterans and their families.
Because of his dedication and hard work, my dad is now receiving several thousand dollars a month in additional compensation that he was not receiving before. That has made a tremendous difference for our family, and we are incredibly grateful. Mr. Wolf has always done everything he can to get the best possible outcome, and I would sincerely recommend him to any Veteran or family looking for someone who will genuinely care about their case and work hard for them.
Let me first say that I usually do not write reviews. However, in this case I am honored to give a review on the overall experience with American Veteran Advocacy and my Accredited Agent Hans Wolf.
This has been an amazing experience! The prompt communication and availability of Hans has been nothing but superior! Not only was the prompt communication there, but Hans would break it down to terms that I could understand. When asking for clarity, there was no hesitation. Hans would lay out what the steps were and update where we were within the process. I actually looked forward to his calls because I knew I was going to be able to get feedback on the status of my claim. With American Veteran Advocacy, it is not a hurry up and wait. It is a methodical process and things actually get done!!
The knowledge of the VA process that Hans has just blew me away. It did not matter what subject that we discussed or the question that I had. There was always an answer or “I will have to get back with you”. This is integrity. If he did not know, he would follow-up with his findings and provide me with an answer that I could understand.
American Veteran Advocacy fought for me and the outcome was nothing but what was deserved. Keep in mind, the struggle is real. However, the help and knowledge that Hans provided kept me on track and the outcome was a rating well deserved.
Thank you Hans, job well done!
Thank you for your assistance and skill while working through the murky VA process. I was impressed with your knowledge, professionalism, and customer service. The results I got far exceeded my expectations!
